Drawing from her childhood influences such as Nina Simone, Billy Holiday and Simon and Garfunkel, with some Frank Sinatra in the mix, Cara plays a variety of covers with her own smoky voice arrangements of popular, classic and obscure songs. She’s branded her own genre of HymnFolk Blues, which is the name of her new EP.

Her original songs reaching into literature and philosophy and expletive steeped sarcasm to bring relatable lyrics to her listeners.
