Keith Ladd

Keith Ladd was born and raised just outside of Kansas City, Mo. From a young age he had a great fascination with music. Weather it was Steve Earle, Hank Williams Jr., Eric Clapton or Stevie Ray Vaughan on the radio, he was always singing along. When he was 5 years old he started playing his dad’s guitars on and off but he really didn't pick it up until age 10. At age 11 he played his first show and it was over, from that moment on he knew exactly what he wanted to do.

Keith joined local band, Country Rick and the Barnyard Playboys around 2011 and played with them all over the Kansas City area before leaving the band in 2015 to pursue more original music.

In December of 2014 he joined Barbwire Revolt as a singer and lead guitar player. They recorded and self released a single, Noise Complaint. During the summer of 2016 they opened for The Romantics, Jackson Taylor, Molly Hatchet, Shooter Jennings & Waymore’s Outlaws, and Blackfoot. The band dissolved and Keith joined The Heather Newman Band as a lead guitar player. Together they recorded and released two full length albums and played countless shows throughout the Midwest.

Keith released his first solo EP in the spring of 2017 and has put together a solid band. They are currently booking shows for 2024.
