Selling Merch On Spotify?

Want to make more money off your music, now you can do it using Spotify! And no, i am not talking about the dismal amount they give you for someone streaming your song. I’m talking about selling merch on Spotify! Selling merchandise on Spotify can be a great way for musicians to connect with fans and generate additional revenue streams. As always remember 1,000 fans spending $100 a year on you is $100,000. And this is a way to help get there! Here are the steps to follow to get your merch out there!

  1. Log in to artists.spotify.com.

  2. Go to Profile.

  3. Click Merch.

  4. Click LOG IN TO SHOPIFY.

  5. Enter your Shopify store URL and click LINK SHOP. (If you don’t have a Shopify account, its very easy to set up)

  6. Alternatively, you can create a Printify account and design products with their free merch maker.

  7. Connect your Shopify online store to Printify and publish your products to Shopify.

  8. Connect your Shopify store to Spotify for Artists and publish merch to Spotify.

  9. Feature merch on your Spotify profile.

  10. Tag merch to your music releases.

If you're a musician looking to sell merchandise online, you might want to consider selling it on Spotify. Not only does Spotify have millions of users worldwide, but it now offers a seamless way for musicians to sell their merchandise directly to fans. Yes its not as profitable as using a company like artist apparel that charges $10 a shirt but it is defiantly the most seamless way to reach your fans on Spotify. I would definitely advise musicians to use this as another possible form of revenue. Try it out and tell us what you think!
